At the end of the day, the majority of people will conform to fit in.
As social creatures, we want to be accepted and fit it. Most of us don’t want to be outsiders.
This is called social conformity.
Most will do all sorts of abnormal things to fit in with society. If the majority of people do something, we won’t argue with it because it’s now become “the new normal”.
It’s what it is, just get used to it.
A minority of the population has learned that life is much more enjoyable when we just don’t give a damn what the majority thinks of us.
In fact, that mostly the really successful people in life.
They limit the circle of people from whom they seek guidance and approval from. They find partners and mentors in life that help them grow and move forward.
The rest of the people, for lack of a better word, are sheep. They wait to be guided. These people tend to NOT be action takers or entrepreneurs. They always need someone’s approval before taking the next step.
Of course, there is always an exception to the rule.
This is why fighting for freedom has always been an underdog fight. If you look at our history and stories of the Bible, you’ll see it’s always a minority of the population screaming for freedom.
Everyone else says they want freedom, but they don’t want true freedom. With great freedom comes great responsibility.
Most people want option A or option B, and both options better not include risk!
